More facts about cheerleading...
Cheerleading is a sport which uses an organized routine ranging from 1-3 minutes. The routine mainly consists of jumps, stunts, chants, tumbling and dance. There are two main types of cheerleading, competitive and school cheer. Competitive cheer is normally when there are teams that practice and about every month they compete either locally, or nationally. School cheerleading is generally cheering for a school basketball team, football team, soccer team, etc. rather then competing against other cheer teams. Cheerleading is actually quite a dangerous sport, even more dangerous then football. Last year, there were more then 20,000 injuries in cheerleading.
